MY GOALS

MY PROFESSIONAL GOALS

I began my college to obtain a bachelor degree in Information Technology and Computer Science. But working as a computer teacher and a math teacher at elementary and high school levels, and then as a university lecturer in the Information Technology Department at the Open University, I became interested in education. I earned my Master’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and Leadership from New York State University- College at Buffalo SUNY and continued working as a math facilitator and teacher.
I'm currently enrolled at Wayne State University to gain my doctoral degree in Instructional Technology, I believe this program expands my understanding of the synergy of technology and learning system theories. It gives me a leading edge in educational technology as well, and develop the skills necessary to carry out innovative work within the discipline of education.
My sincerest desire is to become an instructional designer or a professor in Instructional Technology to help prepare the students in schools and universities to use advanced applications of technology efficiently within the learning process. Furthermore, to
become an exemplary educator for all women, who supports and encourages their contribution to the educational technology field. Toward this end, I’m honored to join the Instructional Technology Ph.D. program at Wayne State University in order to gain the skills and knowledge vital to building my proficiency in this field.

MY RESEARCH INTERESTS
I worked with the faculty on projects related to implementing social media in STEMfiled, e-Health technology and evaluating the effectiveness of online courses. Currently, my research focuses on identifying the strategies for successful selection and implementation of emerging technologies in higher education.
